Yes, Amazon Prime Video have released a trailer for the film, which has already amassed over 10 million views on YouTube. Like all good trailers, the clip gives fans a taste of what's to come in the revamped version of the story without giving away too much. Cinderella is set to be released on Amazon Prime Video on September 3, 2021.

The Amazon -distributed reimagining, written and directed by Kay Cannon (Pitch Perfect) with a story by James Corden, stars Cabello in the title role and is packed with an all-star cast that includes Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Pierce Brosnan, Minnie Driver and Corden, among others.

Now, however, Disney is presenting fans with a brand-new version of Cinderella. Fortunately, fans will be pleased to know this isn’t a new adaptation of the classic story. Rather, the Walt Disney Studios Restoration and Preservation Team has painstakingly restored the original 1950 animated film in 4K.

Coming to the streaming platform on August 25, the restoration will turn out to be the sharpest iteration the classic has ever been seen as, due to the upgrades made in both image and sound quality. Disney had to pull the original nitrate negative from the Library of Congress, and scanning the successive exposure color records in 4K.
