Woodall Mountain is the highest natural point in the U.S. state of Mississippi at 806 feet (246 m). It is located just off Mississippi Highway 25, south of Iuka in Tishomingo County in the northeast part of the state.

Woodall Mountain, the highest point in Tishomingo Co., is a monadnock, or a hill with a cap of rock that is more resistant to erosion than the surrounding land. The reddish brown rock found in the area is a sandstone with significant traces of iron present.

The only reason to go to Mount Woodall, highest point in Mississippi at just over a whopping 800 feet above sea level, is to say you did it. And if you know beforehand that it is otherwise a big nothing, then you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
