Jul 6, 2019 · This is my dog Ivan. I got him at an SPCA and they marked him as a "smooth collie mix." He is 5 years old and acts like a herding dog when playing fetch but otherwise is a loyal follower and he is very gentle and quiet. He is bigger than a border collie but just smaller than a german shepherd.

Jan 8, 2018 · I absolutely love them but for my and my family needs our dutchie fits precisely since we need the protection aspect as well with me being out of town often for work. I hope you find a good breeder for your border collie. Best of luck. My best border collie was a rescue lol even though I've paid high prices for big name breeders.
