The Columbus Police Department’s Property and Financial Crimes Agency is issuing a warning to citizens regarding an active bank scam that is affecting the community.

The Muscogee County Sheriff's Office held a promotions ceremony Monday, honoring six employees for their dedication and service. Sgt. Ray Thornton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant (Jail Bureau).
