This shouldn't be mistaken with Samsung planning to launch the Galaxy Ring 2 in January, as that would have given its pioneering smart ring only half a year to ply its trade. Instead, just like early this year, it will just be a teaser to confirm its existence, not to detail its specs or anything.

As per a report by DigiTimes, Samsung will tease the Galaxy Ring 2 during the Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2025. The launch event is rumoured to take place on January 22. The upcoming model will reportedly retain the nine size options of the first-generation Galaxy Ring and include two new sizes to compete with rival Oura Ring.

Expected upgrades for the Galaxy Ring 2 include more size options, better sensors, smarter AI, and longer battery life. Following Samsung's usual pattern, the Galaxy Ring 2 might be teased in January but won’t hit stores until later,
