The City of Destiny will host one of nine “fan zones” around the state next summer: interactive events and experiences complementing six World Cup matches at Seattle’s Lumen Field in June and July 2026. Attendees can enjoy live matches on giant screens, entertainment from local musicians and brush up their soccer skills through on-site clinics.

Seattle's World Cup organizing committee on Tuesday named the nine Washington cities that will host fan zones for the quadrennial soccer tournament in 2026.

Seattle may be a host city for the FIFA World Cup 26, but it’s not taking the spotlight alone. Seattle is one of 16 host cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico that will be hosting various matches throughout the tournament from mid-June through early July 2026.
