The injuries continue to pile up in what is easily the most brutal start to the season that I can remember. Among several big-name wide receivers not practicing on Wednesday is DK Metcalf. What’s going on with Metcalf’s injury?

Walker did not practice again Thursday. Asked Wednesday if Walker would practice this week, coach Mike Macdonald said: “We’ll see.” He hasn’t practiced since Sept. 8. That’s the day he injured his oblique late in his 103-yard rushing day leading the Seahawks’ rally in the second half past Denver in the opening game.

Smith struggled with playing through injury in 2023. His numbers slightly regressed as a result, but he still owned a 20:9 TD:INT ratio and went 8-7 as a starter. The Seahawks parted ways with head coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Shane Waldron, replacing them with Mike Macdonald and Ryan Grubb.

While the Seattle Seahawks have started the season 2-0, there has been a lot more credit given to the defense than the offense. There is still a lot of room to grow for the offense to get to the right spot.
