The New York Jets organization has failed many quarterbacks throughout the past decade. However, the most recent example, with Zach Wilson now with the Denver Broncos, doesn't look to be their fault.

That means New York's reunion with former second-overall pick Zach Wilson won't exactly be happening right away in 2024. That doesn't mean it won't happen right away this year, though.

That means in the Jets’ 20 offensive drives with Wilson under center — not including drives ending in kneel-downs at the end of the half — New York has scored a total of 26 points.

Then, in the Jets' first game of the season, Rodgers went down with a torn Achilles. Zach Wilson was forced to trot in from the sidelines, and New York's nightmare scenario had been realized.
