Microsoft's Xbox chief, Phil Spencer, is seeking to assuage the fears of gamers who worry the company might give up on its Xbox consoles. In a new interview, Spencer said more Microsoft gaming hardware is coming. However, you shouldn't expect a mid-generation refresh similar to the new PlayStation 5 Pro.

In recent months Microsoft has been referring to this internally as “ Xbox Everywhere ,” as it increasingly looks at bringing more Xbox games to PlayStation, Switch, and other platforms and devices. Microsoft has also been using “no console required” messaging for its Xbox TV app for Samsung TVs and Amazon’s Fire TV sticks earlier this year.

Hoping to get your hands on an Xbox handheld console? Well, the company says it's not launching any time soon.
