Allen was named the MVP, and Morrow, nicknamed "Slick Rick," was left crying anyway, thanks to a special shoutout from Allen during his MVP speech.

When Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen won this year's MVP at the NFL Honors last week, fans might have expected the usual suspects mentioned in most sports award speeches: family, friends, God, coaches, teammates, the front office, fellow nominees and so on.

Days after being named the 2025 NFL MVP, Allen's success will be featured in a University of Wyoming commercial during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Allen starred in a 30-second commercial for the University of Wyoming, Allen's alma mater. "Where Real MVPs Are Made" the spot was titled, showing highlights from Allen's three-year Wyoming career.

The honor also comes with an aura of prestige, plus the opportunity to give a speech sharing the shine with those who helped the MVP get there. MVP speeches also have spawned iconic moments - such as when Kevin Durant called his mom "the real MVP" and a meme was instantly born.
