Starting at $129, the fourth-generation AirPods feature the same open design as their predecessor, but they have a refined new look and are powered by Apple's H2 chip. The higher-end model has ANC for $179.

The AirPods 4 are touted as Apple’s "most comfortable design yet," thanks to extensive research on ear shapes. Design-wise, they follow their predecessor with shorter stems and skip the silicone ear tips, leaving fit up to individual ear shapes.

From the outside, you won’t spot any drastic changes from the AirPods 3. Apple has continued to tweak the shape and contours of the earbuds for the best possible fit, and the charging case is now smaller than ever. (And yes, it’s got a USB-C connector this time.) But these still look the part of AirPods — and they still only come in white.
