While the processing grunt is expected to be the same, it won’t use the same Exynos Modem 5400, instead opting for the 5300 seen on the Pixel 8 series.

The Google Pixel 9a will not only apparently be coming earlier next year, it'll bring with it some noticeable changes. It'll likely have a taller and narrower body with a greatly reduced camera bump, a Tensor G4 chipset (but with an old modem) and four total color options.

Apple claims that the iPhone 16 Pro's Corning-made Ceramic Shield glass is the strongest on any phone. The Pixel also features Corning-made Gorilla Glass Victus 2. So, the durability difference between the two glasses will be minute at best. Additionally, both flagships are rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
