Adobe is giving private beta users a chance to test out a long-anticipated feature — allowing more than one person to access and edit Photoshop documents simultaneously.

Photoshop is officially becoming a team project. Adobe has announced the creation of live co-editing on Photoshop, allowing multiple individuals to simultaneously work on the same file from different computers.

On Tuesday, Adobe brought Live Co-Editing to Photoshop, which allows multiple creators to access and edit Photoshop documents from different computers simultaneously. In addition to working together, users can gather feedback from clients, teachers, or coworkers on the file through collaborative comments.

Adobe has brought collaboration to Photoshop as part of its Live Co-Editing, allowing a team of designers to jointly work together on a Photoshop project.

Available for beta testing on both the desktop (beta) and web apps, this feature is designed to make collaboration smoother, faster, and more intuitive.

The new beta Live Co-Editing feature will supercharge Photoshop’s collaboration potential.

The live co-editing feature has been years in the works and highly requested by Photoshop users, Adobe confirmed to CNET.
