Apple has changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America on its maps after an order by President Donald Trump was made official by the U.S. Geographic Names Information System.

MapQuest appears to be poking fun at President Trump's recent rebranding of the Gulf of Mexico. Here's a look at the new names people have given it.

Well, MapQuest is not only still around, but we've actually got a reason to use it in 2025. Sort of. If you go to a special Gulf of Mexico-themed part of MapQuest, you can type in anything you want, and it'll generate a map that renames the Gulf of Mexico after whatever you typed in.

While Google has updated its map feature to read "Gulf of America," MapQuest won't be doing the same, allowing users to rename it themselves.
