The New York Islanders (21-20-7) fought back from an early 2-0 deficit to win their fourth straight game and defeated the Carolina Hurricanes (30-16-4) 3-2 on Saturday night in UBS Arena.
The Carolina Hurricanes will take on the New York Islanders (19-20-7) tonight with what will be a very new looking lineup. The Canes made a huge splash last night, landing both Mikko Rantanen and Taylor Hall for Martin Necas and Jack Drury in a three-team trade.

Sorokin's 29 saves led the Islanders to a 3-1 victory over the Flyers. The New York Islanders picked up a key 3-1 Metropolitan Division victory over the Philadelphia Flyers Friday night. Brock Nelson had a goal and an assist and Bo Horvat had the game-winning goal while Ilya Sorokin stopped 29 of 30 shots for his 15th win of the season.
