An employee at Indian Trails Middle School has been accused of child abuse after she was caught on camera striking a disabled student in an unprovoked attack.

A 16-year-old student at Flagler Palm Coast High School was arrested Friday after she threatened to shoot up the school, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

Cheryl Andrews of Palm Coast was arrested for child abuse with out great bodily harm following a more than minth-long investigation according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

An Indian Trails Middle School employee was arrested Thursday, after security video showed her physically abusing a non-verbal student.

A witness told the FCSO that Indian Trails Middle School employee Cheryl Andrews of was "very aggressive toward all students," a release stated.

An investigation into child abuse has led to the arrest of an Indian Trails Middle School employee in Flagler County, police say.
