SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--One-Red LLC, a company that offers various license programs for DVD patents, today announced that it has reduced royalty rates for its joint DVD license programs.

No wonder big electronics makers figure the Blu-ray Disc will render today’s red DVD lasers obsolete. The next-gen video disc has been on the drawing board since 1995.
