Paleontologists at the University of Uppsala in Sweden studied more than 500 pieces of fossilized dinosaur poop to find out how dinosaurs evolved.

Fossilized poop serves as a time capsule of sorts, offering up information about its maker’s diet, anatomy and health. They can also offer clues about historic environmental conditions.
