Say what you might about some of Disney's adaptations, but its track record for book-to-screen projects is pretty solid. Right on the heels of The Lightning Thief, the studio green-lights book three's adaptation before season two even hits Disney+.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians has scored a very early renewal for Season 3 and has announced its premiere month. This comes shortly after the Disney+ fantasy-adventure series wrapped filming in February.
