Monday unofficially starts the NBA trade season, as it's the first day that a lot of players who signed new contracts this offseason become trade-eligible. There are some exceptions, such as P.J. Washington, who can't be traded until the offseason, but teams that need to match salary now have nearly every option at their disposal.

The 2026 NBA playoffs will begin on April 18. The 2025-26 regular season wraps up on April 12, giving teams a short break before the postseason tips off.
