NBA 2K25 is finally here and it's even worse than its last iteration with the bare minimum applied and more predatory practices.

NBA 2K once again sits in the top tier of sports games for the reasons that matter most, but a pay-to-win scheme continues to infect some of its best aspects.

As always, 2K25’s core gameplay is remarkably solid. It’s taken years for franchises like Madden to get anywhere close to 2K’s game feel, and 2K25 makes things even better with some tweaks and changes that smooth out the experience even more.

NBA 2K25 is still geared more towards its community but the devs have made it more approachable for casual players than in recent years.
