Preying on the attention span of the fanbase, WWE has gotten a little wild with the amount of commercial breaks they spam into each broadcast. And New Wrestling recently dove into the conversation in a discussion based off this short.

According to a report from WrestleVotes Radio, WWE SmackDown is expected to follow in RAW’s footsteps and transition to a three-hour format in January 2025.

WWE is reportedly making a significant change to SmackDown after RAW leaves the USA Network. Recently, FOX has ended its partnership with WWE, where it served as SmackDown’s broadcast partner since 2019.

A new report provides an update on WWE‘s programming on Peacock. WWE shows are on the move, as SmackDown has moved to USA Network, while NXT will premiere on The CW Network on October 1. Steven Muelhausen of The Takedown on SI reports that,

WWE programming has already undergone changes. Last Friday, SmackDown returned to the USA Network after a five-year run on FOX. Starting on Tuesday, Oct. 1, NXT will be leaving USA and heading to CW.
