The England and Wales Cricket Board announced the squad for the upcoming five-match ODI series against Australia, slated to begin on September 19 in Trent Bridge. Captain Jos Buttler has been ruled out of the series owing to a calf injury and in his absence, Harry Brook will be leading the team.

The 29-year-old Archer was eased back into the England fold this year at the T20 World Cup after recovering from long-standing elbow and back injuries.
