GARRETT COUNTY, Md. — Officials are investigating after a Westmoreland County man was found dead after a side-by-side vehicle he was riding went through the ice at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland.

A Westmoreland County man died over the weekend after the UTV he was on broke through the ice at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland, according to Maryland Natural Resources Police.
