TCL unveiled the TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet at CES 2025, packing a new NXTPAPER 4.0 screen tech and AI features.

TCL has unveiled the latest iteration of its NXTPAPER display technology. It also revealed the first device that will use it.

TCL has introduced its new NXTPAPER 4.0 display technology at the ongoing CES event. The company is also claiming significant improvement with the latest NXTPAPER display tech, offering enhanced levels of eye comfort which in turn provides for a much superior user experience.

TCL's Nxtpaper phones have displays that provide protection from blue light and glare, and they're coming to the U.S. for the first time later this year.

TCL hasn't provided a release date for the NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet. Pricing is also unknown, but the original NXTPAPER 11 sold for $230 and is now discontinued. I assume that the new model is slightly more expensive than its predecessor, or possibly the same price. Dell is officially giving its existing PC brands the boot at CES 2025.

TCL is showing off a concept phone at CES that it calls the NXTPAPER Phone, a phone that implements the paper-like display technology the company has put in some of its recents tablets. Unlike almost all other phones on the market today, the display surface has a matte finish, somewhat like paper, instead of the usual glossy glass.

The newest gadgets with TCL's paper-like matte display technology, Nxtpaper 4.0, are eventually heading to North America with epic battery life.

As it did last year, TCL is showing off a new generation of NXTPAPER tech this week at CES. The new NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet is built around the also new NXTPAPER 4.0 screen which uses a "nano-matrix lithography” to improve clarity and sharpness.

The new TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G is launching exclusively in North America later this year. The phone features the NXTPAPER Key, which switches the display to a more comfortable mode and can emulate E Ink for reading.
