(FOX40.COM) — A woman inmate who reportedly fell ill and was taken to a hospital in early November has died, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. The agency said the woman, 54, told jail staff on Thursday, November 7, that she was feeling ill.

Officials said that on Nov. 7, a 54-year-old inmate, who has not been identified, told deputies she was feeling ill.
