Nathan Lyon surpassed Shane Warne to become Australia's highest wicket-taker in Test cricket against Sri Lanka, claiming 60 wickets. His instrumental performance helped Australia secure a 2-0 series win in Galle.

Nathan Lyon has gone past Shane Warne 's 59 wickets to become Australia's most successful Test bowler against Sri Lanka. The 37-year-old spinner achieved the feat in the second Test at the Galle International Stadium. He sent Kusal Mendis back on the fourth day, taking his 60th Test wicket against Sri Lanka.

As he took in the achievement of plucking 550 Test wickets and forecast many more, Nathan Lyon spoke glowingly of left-arm spinner Matt Kuhnemann as “our best bowler”.
