McBEE, S.C. — State police in South Carolina said they found a man who shot and wounded a small town police officer during a traffic stop.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division put out an alert Friday morning about Alston Modlin, 27, who they say was wanted for shooting an officer during a traffic stop late Thursday night in McBee.
