A man has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in connection with an August shooting in Iberia Parish, authorities said. Bradley Fontenot III, 22, was arrested by the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Friday and charged with the murder of 19-year-old Dallas Lewis.

Iberia Parish Jail inmate Kristian Broussard was captured and rebooked into the Iberia Parish Jail on the charge of aggravated escape on September 18, around 11:45

IBERIA PARISH, La. ( KLFY) — An Iberia Parish inmate has escaped the jail, according to the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office is searching for 39-year-old Kristian Broussard, a pre-trial detainee held for second-degree murder. According to a news release, Broussard escaped the jail at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The same day around 11:45 pm, Broussard was captured and rebooked into the Iberia Parish Jail on the charge of Aggravated Escape. Broussard is a pre-trial detainee held for 2nd degree murder.

John Wayne Gacy’s house has since been torn down and replaced with a new residence, built on the same land where Gacy reportedly buried many of his victims. The home, located at 8215 W. Summerdale Ave., was sold for just shy of $400,000 in May 2021.
