“Spring Breakers” was one of the first movies distributed by A24, which turned a healthy profit on the small-budget film. It stars James Franco as a drug dealer who wraps college partiers Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine into his world of crime and violence.

The Harmony Korine film is about four college students — played by Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine — who meet a wannabe gangster named Alien (James Franco) while on spring break. Drugs, sex, violence, and a Britney Spears sing-along ensue.
