The Denver Broncos are apparently bent on finding a “joker" — an upper-echelon pass-catching weapon at running back or tight end — with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Alas, the latest buzz coming out of Indianapolis is that the three primary first-round joker options for the Broncos could be long gone by the time they're picking on Day 1.

One of the Denver Broncos' biggest needs this offseason is to upgrade their tight end position. Head coach Sean Payton spoke to the media at the NFL Scouting Combine last week and described the type of TE he typically would covet if he were to use a top pick on the position.
