The Israeli military issued fresh evacuation orders early Friday for 35 settlements in southern Lebanon telling residents to leave immediately and head north of the Awali River for their own safety.

Israel has claimed to have targeted Hezbollah ’s intelligence headquarters in Beirut as it carries out strikes against the militant group’s leadership – with Iran ’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowing that Tehran and its proxies will not back down.

Israel has hit targets across Lebanon and killed 1,030 people over the past week according to the country's Health Ministry, as Lebanese-based militant group Hezbollah sustained heavy blows to its command structure including the killing of its leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

The Israeli Army says that 20 rockets have been launched from Lebanon into the northern part of the country. Beirut has endured the worst night of bombings since the Israeli attacks began in Lebanon.

Israel launched an airstrike on a Beirut neighborhood on Thursday, killing nine people. Almost 2,000 people have been killed in Lebanon since October 2023.
