Went with a group of friends on a tour, and were shown round by a guy of aboriginal descent, who made the place all the more fascinating. I'm sure we only scratched the surface of all the stuff that… Full review by Andy F

This is a beautiful part of Sydney and well worth a walk around. We like to start up by the Art Gallery of NSW, walk through and around to the Opera House. A great place for a picnic too. Full review by wombatdavid

Great place for a walk. Loads of plants to see. Places to sit in the shade and enjoy your packed lunch or snack. Flowers, ferns, trees, and shrubs. Special exhibits that rotate. Some art work. … Full review by raed452

1) B441 stops in the park. It may or may not be the best for you depending on where you are coming from and where you want to get off in the park. I suggest a Google Map search or TransportNSW for more detailed information 2) The best view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge is from Mrs. Macquarie's chair. The best time of day is subjective. It's nice to see the sun set behind the Opera House, but it's also nice in the morning when the sun is shining on the Opera House for nice blue skies. 3) There is no fee to enter the park.
What is the average length of time for a visit please? On a tight schedule but would like to visit. Thanks

A 2 hour stroll through the Garden would be ideal. Start at the Opera House gate and work your way through( the gardens to The State Library / Macquarie Street.
Can you please tell me if there are enough seats for everyone who buys tickets to the Point NYE? We are a family of 5 and really don't want to line up early as we only have a couple of days in Sydney and want to go sightseeing during the day. Do you recommend a blanket or do you think we can find a table to sit together? thanks!!!

This is on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. Be early & look for a place at the elevated area of the Botanic Park. Nov-Dec are summer months.
