I literally boarded this boat right after I landed at the airport. And it was a great day. They gave us a guarantee to join them for another trip if we didn't see whales. Well, we did see whales bu…Full review by Excursion58228208904

Planning on going on the whale watching trip with our daughter. We are seniors and are wondering if the boats are easily accessible and if the restrooms are easy to access. We are mobile and can walk unassisted but climbing steep ladders, etc. would be difficult. Thank you so much for any information you could provide.

We did a whale watching tour with Hawaii Ocean Project in February 2018, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We had two small children with us. There were ramps to get on and off the boat. I don't remember there being stairs getting on although you may have to be able to do a big step to actually get on the boat. If you want to go to the upper deck, you do have to be able to climb. But we stayed on the lower deck and enjoyed the trip immensely on that level. I would give them a call. They were super friendly and accommodating. I don't know the answer to the bathroom question either, but my daughter got seasick and they were really nice to us at the refreshment stand. Giving her water, ginger ale, towels. I do remember an accessible sink where I washed my hands.
