This museum is probably one of the best art museums I have visited in the USA. The diversity of the displays caters for all tastes. My favourite gallery was the Mario Moore: Revolutionary Times. Full review by tonycK3959FS

I'm not really into art, but the museum was professional and nice! Lots of art and a few other activities. The grand rapids cultural pass worth it. Full review by matthewsQ3866SD

I attended ArtPrize in 2016 and 2017. It was fantastic with so much interesting art. This year felt like a big fizzle. Nothing too exciting. What happened to the outside exhibits around museums, office buildings, etc. I saw 1 water exhibit outside the Ford museum. The alligators on the lawn were OK. Unfortunately lots of kids climbing and jumping on them :( So many DO NOT TOUCH signs. Don't folks know that you don't touch art?

Hi! In the United States, lots of students do not get much art education as part of their regular curriculum. So, knowing such basics as not touching the art unless it expressly says it's okay is not second nature to many American children. The alligator piece looks like something from a playground, so it is understandable that people have been sitting on them. The artist should have made them durable enough to accommodate such frolicking because this was a predictable outcome. I saw the GRAM exhibits this year and last year during ArtPrize, and the "Intersection" cube that is on display as a previous winner from before is eons better than anything on display for ArtPrize at the GRAM this year in my personal opinion.
