Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 / Software for Windows 10?
WEBI have a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 from my previous desktop I would like to install but can't find the Windows 10 software download on the Microsoft Website! I would like to download the installation software for this MOUSE to operate with WINDOWS 10 & install it!

WEBOct 2, 2017 · I have been using a wireless MS keyboard and mouse 5000 for maybe 3 ½ years on my Windows 8.1 PC. Yesterday the mouse just stopped working. I changed the batteries, pressed the reconnect button, pulled out the USB dongle and re-inserted it, tried a cold boot - nothing. I searched around for answers but found nothing relevant.

I've tried resetting the mouse and I checked all the optics and even gone into device manager and tried to fix the problem but nothing seems to work. By the way, Im using a Windows 10 Pavilion.

WEBAug 30, 2010 · Thanks for the feedback however keep in mind that the Wireless Laser 5000 does not use BlueTooth unlike the BlueTooth Notebook 5000 and the Wireless Mouse 5000 both of which are BT devices. The latter two also do not use the Intellipoint Drivers. All being labeled 5000 is confusing, at least to me.

WEBJul 18, 2020 · AFAIK, the Microsoft mouse, keyboard and USB transceiver are paired and will only work with each other. In case if they are under warranty, you can ask Microsoft for a replacement. Contact Microsoft Support regrading same. Else you may need to purchase a new set. Hope this helps!

I have tried every solution on the boards so far (reboot; clean reboot; update windows, update drivers; mouse does not have an updated driver, but i tried running iPont.exe in compatability mode which helped for a little while, now it is impossible to control again.
